Oops wrong item.

I got the wrong thing. I was wanting one that works the opposite way as "Ventamatic XXFIRESTAT 10 amp Adjustable Thermostat with Firestat for Power Attic Ventilators" does. This switch might be useful in the winter when I might need pipe warmers that I could possibly trigger with this. Its not worth returning it; it is reasonably priced for the kind of switch it is.

I marked them down one star because It was unclear what this switch does. It turns on when temperature drops below the set temperature and off when above.

I wanted one that turns on when above and off below. The only way to get this switch to act that way was with a relay but there where better options as I mentioned above.

Does 100% as advertised.

Needed this to rig up my RV with multi miniature heaters. 6 of the 200 watt "Lasko Products My Heat Personal Heaters"($12 apiece) are rigged up to run simultaneously based on this thermostat. Heaters were all installed in distributive locations awaiting this unit and wires all ran and hid away. Got the Dimplex, wired it up in minutes and voila!!, I have balanced, 1200 watt total, central heat in a 35 foot travel trailer. Cool Stuff!

Not sensitive

This Thermostat doesn't sense room temperature quickly. It takes a long time to respond and activate again. It's good for garage but not for home.
