5Great Way to Reduce Energy Bills
By R. Tickle
Just installed this unit to replace a 5-year old 10000 BTU Blue-Flame unit. There is a lot of discussion online about whether Infrared is better or worse that Blue-Flame. Now that I have had both, I prefer Infrared. Infrared units are not really infrared, but they do emit more radiant heat than Blue-Flame. The main reason I now prefer the so-called Infrared is that the heat is more evenly distributed between radiant and convective methods. Another reason I now prefer Infrared is that you can tell at a glance if the unit is running and which output setting is selected.

I'm using this unit to add supplementary heat to my basement. I have two zone baseboard heat in a two story house. Upstairs and downstairs heating loops are on separate thermostats. Since installing this unit in my basement, the downstairs heating loop has not come on.

5Kozy Wall Heater
By Bama Lady
Purchased two of the 18,000 BTU as secondary heat to central H/A so when power outages come along we will still be warm. Very satisfied with the heat they generate and the ease of operation. Less expensive to operate and a much warmer heat than central heat.

4Good bang for the buck
By Robin
Simple install with built-in safeguards.

Very attractive.

Needs no outside vent but warns if low oxygen.

Reasonable price for a good heater for a 400 square foot

guest house.
