not great

I am looking to buy another space heater even though this Sunbeam does work. The two things that are most annoying to me: it does not have an automatic shut off should it tip over or be placed on an uneven surface; the cord is stiff and makes tucking the heater away a pain--we always unplug the heater when it's not in use, and I like to tuck it away (we use it in the bathroom during showers or baths)but I'm always fighting with the cord which is impossible to wind around the heater.

works great, good price, nice

I have two of these now, because they are the perfect auxiliary heat when I need little heat in a small space while I'm in there. The controls on the top are especially handy, as opposed to models where controls are on the bottom front. The first one is 3 years old and works fine to make showers comfortable in a cold bathroom. I got another this winter for my tiny not well heated hobby space. I would recommend this to a friend.

EXCELLENT Little Heater!

This heater may be small, but it sure packs a punch in heating even a fairly large area. It is whisper-quiet and the controls are very easy to use and are easily accessible and easy to read. The amount of air it puts out makes the heating by this unit more than adequate. My first use of it heated up a 10' x 14' room in just a matter of about 30 minutes and it keeps that room warm so very easily. Its size allows you to use it as a desktop unit, an under-desk unit, or just place it in the middle of a room and let it do its thing. I have also used it as a personal heater for my feet while sitting in my recliner and it keeps me toasty warm even on a low setting meaning that it will not run the electric bill sky-high. It has a very durable and tough outer shell and the interior parts are not rattly or noisy when running. It really is a well put-together little unit and I am very happy to have it now. The price made it a steal of a deal so I am ordering two more of them for oth er rooms in the house and one for my large computer desk. I would recommend this heating unit to anyone. You will be happy that you bought it, especially for the price.
